Moss and Fawn Believes in Sustainability
Sustainability is a very important factor in today’s world. We believe it’s our responsibility to work towards a sustainable future, and we’re committed to implementing practices that will help ensure a healthy planet for generations to come. We are always exploring ways to further minimize our impact. We would love for you to join us, just simply recycling our packaging helps create a more sustainable future.
As an online store we require to ship each order and to minimize our impact on the environment we went all natural with our packaging.
Our booklets are made in a wind powered facility, and printed with vegetable ink on recycled paper.
The CEO of the printing shop we use, Andrew Field says "Though wind-powered electricity costs a little more, we believe that as more businesses purchase energy from renewable sources, green power will gain momentum and go mainstream, eventually providing our country with the best of all worlds: energy that is clean, cost-effective and made in America"
Our carrying pouch is 100% cotton! Cotton is sustainable, renewable, and biodegradable, making it an excellent choice as an environmentally-friendly fiber throughout its entire product life cycle. Most chemical fibers are petroleum based, which means they come from nonrenewable resources. Yay for cotton!
The filling we use is 100% all natural wood strands, washed with water so its dust-free and non-allergenic. The natural wood strands are 100% biodegradable so just toss them in your garden to decompose.
Lastly our forage feeder is designed to be used through all stages of teething and is great for introducing solids, its multi-functionality also makes it great to teach self feeding and great for snack time. Each feeder comes with 3 different sized tops to GROW with your baby! They do grow so fast so it became our mission to create a product that was built to last.
